Tellus Smart 2 :
 As the Tellus Smart 1 has been discontinued, the Tellus Smart 2 is now "the" only model available.
The Tellus Smart 2 with Mind Express, provides loud and clear Australian speech output, and recorded messages can be stored also. Message displays can be alpha-numeric, Picture Communication Symbols (PCS), phrases with text only, or a combination of text and symbols. Photographs can be imported. The unit can be operated by directly selecting using a finger or stylus, or by switch and scanning access. Based on an HP PDA, with Windows Mobile, all pre-installed programs can be accessed from the desktop - including Office Mobile (Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Word). These can be 'locked' out if required. As a speech generating device the Tellus Smart is proving popular with many people. Here is the small, hand-held device with Australian speech and flexible set-up that has been requested for so long.
Some ex-loan/demo Tellus Smart 1 units are available at a reduced price, while stocks last.

LightWRITER *news*
Carry bag for SL35 
As the leather carry bag has become unavailable, we have been able to revive the popular black canvas carry bag thanks to the assistance of ZYGO USA. We have plenty of stock and these will be the standard issue for the SL35.
SL40 LightWRITER
Unfortunately there is no news to report about the Australian release date of the SL40. At this stage we are still hoping it will be in the first quarter of 2010. In the first week of March a representative from Toby Churchill UK will be coming over to help with the Australian launches around the country, so keep in touch if you'd like an invitation.
SL35 LightWRITER & repairs
The SL35 has been officially discontinued in some countries, but in Australia we have dispensation to continue supply due to the delays with the SL40 release. Those on limited budgets or with a preference may continue to choose the SL35 which will be offered for most of next year. PLEASE NOTE: we will be continuing to repair SL35s for at least the legal requirement of 5 years. I understand some customers have been provided incorrect information about repair options so please rest assured users of the outgoing model will not be left 'high and dry'.

Holiday opening hours - as usual ZYTEQ will not be closing over the holiday period except for the public holidays. Please ring and email as usual; send your devices for repair if required. We'll be here!!
Pricing - pricing will be reviewed for the release of a new price list in January. Considering the ongoing strength of the Australian dollar against the US dollar we hope to further reduce the price of some devices.
